When it comes to muscle cars, sometimes great cars come with a great story. Bruno’s Classic Muscle has the rare opportunity to tell such a story and resurrect a legendary car. This is the story of Kevin “Bulldog” Kelly, a great man, husband, father, and friend. Kevin was a master of finding rare Fords, particularly Mustangs, and had an incredible gift of negotiation. If there was a guy who could get ice for free from one Eskimo and sell it to another, Kevin was that guy. Over the years Kevin had many fine Mustangs including Hi-Po GTs, Boss 302s and 428 Cobra Jet Mach 1s. Sadly Kevin passed after making his last, and possibly best deal – trading a Boss 302 for a 1968 R Code Mustang GT Fastback. Yes, a real deal 428 Cobra Jet, 4 speed, 4.30 Traction Lok, Wimbledon White GT. Thank you Darrel Ricketts and Mario Bruno (Bruno's Classic Muscle, LLC) for continuing Kevin's legacy. ❤️

Everyone that knew Kevin knew of his love and passion for classic cars. At Kevin's memorial an old friend of Kevin's, Darrel, approached me to give his condolences. He explained that he had only met me once, at our wedding and now. sadly at Kevin's memorial. Both Kevin and Darrel were members of the Mustang Club of America, sharing a love for Mustangs (A friendship that expanded some 30+ years ). Keeping in touch with me via text and phones Darrel proposed that he and Mario acquire Kevin's dream classic car, a 428 cobra jet. They will complete a total rebuild while documenting the journey.
