Mario Bruno
Owner
Mario’s history with cars and the community goes back decades. Mario has owned and operated Chevy Chase Liberty Automotive Service since 1997, setting high standards for quality and customer service. 2014 led to the opening of Kensington Service Center. KSC under Mario’s guidance continues the tradition of the oldest full service station in Montgomery County. KSC gives back to the community, hosting an annual car show which all proceeds benefit local charities. In addition, KSC helps support community events in food truck nights with other Kensington businesses from the spring through the fall.
Collectors and car enthusiasts looking for a trusted and capable shop have sought Mario out. This has led to dedicating part of KSC to classic and hot rod repairs. Bruno’s Classic Muscle has now become its own separate operation fully dedicated to classic muscle cars as well as vintage collector cars, race cars, street rods and late model muscle cars.

Jim Scharf
Master Technician - Bruno's Airpark
I've been in the automotive business for over 40 years. I've always had a passion for the auto industry. I've done all forms of auto repairs. I've worked at several Auto Dealerships over the years including Chevrolet, Ford, Buick, Toyota, and UD Trucks. In 2005 I did a complete off frame restoration on my own '67 Camaro convertible, including painting it myself with a three-stage paint. Seeing the before and after of the restoration gave me the most rewarding feeling. From that experience, I developed a passion in the restoration and auto repair of Classic Cars. Because of that, I sought out a career in the auto business which involves Classic Cars and that’s what brought me to Bruno's Classic Muscle. I enjoy working here because they're a great group of people who are very knowledgeable in their field. They have the proper equipment and facility which makes working on the vehicles more rewarding.
